Getting Here

Travel by Car : Driving is the best option from Atlanta (2.5 hours), Greenville (1.5 hours), Charlotte (3.5 hours), and Charleston (5 hours).

Travel by Air : The closest airport to Highlands is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) and requires a 1.5 hour drive to town. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport (ATL) requires a 3 hour drive.

Transportation : Please note there is limited to no access to rideshare/taxi services such as Uber and Lyft in Highlands.

We highly encourage our guests to stay on or within walking distance to Main Street - we’ve listed our favorite hotels below to help you choose!

On Friday, we have arranged wedding transportation for guests that will pick up and drop off in front of both Old Edwards Inn and 200 Main - both are walkable from the below hotels. Saturday's festivities will take place at Piermont Cottage which is a short walk off of Main Street.

There are also some great Airbnb and VRBO options for both small and large groups that we encourage you to look at!
